What this covers. Hire of your instructor and their car on test day: they pick you up 1 hour before your test, and the fee covers that warm-up, the wait during the test and the drive back. A centre on the other side of the Thames costs more, for the toll and the longer drive, and that is already inside the figure rather than added on the day. Estimates start at £150.
What is separate. The DVSA practical test fee (£62 on a weekday, £75 evenings and weekends) is paid directly to the DVSA when you book your test.

- A short notice test is quoted separately, for the same two reasons. Ask the office and we will price it for you.
